The first intensive sampling campaing of the CAVEheat concluded succesfully

Last summer the espeleologist team leaded by Valeria Rizzo sampled numerous caves trough the French Pyrenees and the Cantabrian mountains to capture several species of leiodids (the lineage of troglobiont beetles used in this project) for thermal tolerance experiments. They collected a total of 240 specimens of six different species.
